Episode transcripts
Press transcribe on any episode and get clean, editable text a few minutes later — you choose which episodes, and credits are metered like everything else. The transcript is what your show notes and social copy are written from, and every transcript you create is stored and indexed, which is what the archive-search tools on the roadmap are built on.

The moment you half-remember is somewhere in eighty published hours, and the only search tool you have is scrubbing. Meanwhile everything you want written about an episode starts with knowing what was said in it.
- One click per episode — you pick what gets transcribed, never surprise billing
- Editable text: fix a name once, use the corrected version everywhere
- Quote a guest accurately without scrubbing through the audio
- The source your show notes and social copy are generated from
How it works
- 01
Connect your feed
Your episode list syncs from the RSS feed you already publish — every episode, with its audio.
- 02
Press transcribe on an episode
One click per episode. Transcription is metered like the rest of your credits — nothing runs or bills without you asking.
- 03
Get editable text minutes later
A clean transcript you can correct, copy, publish on your episode page, or generate the content kit from.
One click per episode, minutes to text
Your episodes are already listed in Podlink, synced from your feed. Press transcribe on the one you want and clean, editable text is waiting a few minutes later. It is deliberately per-episode: transcription costs credits, so you decide what gets transcribed — the new episode every week, or the one old episode you actually need — and nothing ever bills on its own.
- Works on any episode in your feed, new or years old
- Metered against your plan credits, like Speech to Text
- You choose which episodes — never automatic billing
Your back catalogue is becoming searchable
Two years of episodes is a research archive you cannot currently read. Every transcript you create in Podlink is stored and full-text indexed — that index is the foundation the archive-search tools on the roadmap are built on, including asking your own AI assistant what you said in episode 12. Transcribe as you go and the archive is ready when the search is.
- Every transcript stored against its episode, permanently
- Full-text indexed from day one
- Archive search and assistant access are on the roadmap — no dates, per house rules
It is the substrate for everything else
Show notes, chapter timestamps, clip suggestions and social copy are all generated from the transcript rather than from a guess about what a podcast episode usually contains. That is why the summary reflects what was actually said, and why a takeaway can be traced back to the line it came from.
- Summaries and takeaways are grounded in the transcript
- Clip suggestions come from moments that exist in the audio
- Names, companies and links are pulled from what was said, not invented

Episode transcripts questions
Does transcription use my credits?
Yes — it is metered exactly like the Speech to Text tool, by the length of what comes back, and only when you press transcribe. Episodes over 90 minutes are outside the cap, and nothing is ever transcribed (or billed) automatically.
How accurate is the transcription?
Good enough to publish after a skim, and reliably good on ordinary conversation. Unusual names, product names and heavy crosstalk are where any transcription tool struggles, so those are the lines worth a glance before you post it.
Can I fix mistakes?
Yes. The transcript is editable text — correct a name once and use the corrected version everywhere you need it.
Does it work in languages other than English?
Yes, across the major podcasting languages. If your show is bilingual, transcribe it in the language it was recorded in and generate the written output in the language your audience reads.
Can I publish the transcript with my episode?
That's what most shows do with it. Copy it out and put it on your episode page — a full transcript is one of the few things a podcast can give a search engine to index, and it makes the episode usable for anyone who would rather read.
