Getting Booked on Podcasts

Other agencies book you a podcast. That's where we start.

Strategy, media training, booking and — the part that changes the maths — social clips from every appearance, so the interview reaches the audience the show alone never had.

The podcast isn't the most important part of the appearance

Here's the myth: you need top-tier shows, because top-tier shows have millions of listeners. Here's the reality: the top 1% of podcasts average about 4,000 downloads an episode. Chasing show size is chasing the wrong number. What actually determines reach is what happens to the interview after it airs — which is why every appearance we book comes with clips built to travel on social.

What’s included

Every engagement ships with this.

  • Podcast appearance strategy: outcomes, positioning and target audience
  • SEO keyword research to define what you should be known for
  • Media training: your story, your talking points, your signature call to action
  • A personalized pitch one-pager used to sell you in
  • Research on value-aligned shows — not a spray list
  • Outreach, follow-up, scheduling, booking and confirmation
  • A prep brief for every booked appearance
  • 2 professionally edited social clips per appearance, with copy and hashtags

How it works

The actual process, not a diagram.

  1. 01

    Position

We define the two or three things you should be the go-to voice on, backed by keyword research, and build the pitch one-pager around them.

  2. 02

    Prepare

Media training on your story, talking points and the call to action that sends listeners somewhere useful.

  3. 03

    Pitch and book

A dedicated booking agent runs targeted outreach and follow-up, then handles scheduling and confirmation. First opportunities typically surface in about three weeks.

  4. 04

    Amplify

Every appearance comes back as two social clips with written copy — so the episode keeps working after the release week.

Questions

The things people ask before signing.

How long until I'm booked on something?
Roughly three weeks from kickoff to the first opportunities landing, based on how our campaigns have actually run. Booking rates then depend on your category and how distinctive your angle is.
Can you guarantee a podcast a month?
We don't guarantee volume, and be careful with anyone who does — it usually means low-quality placements chosen to hit a count. What we do offer is pay-per-booking pricing, so you only pay when a show you approved says yes.
Do I get to approve the shows?
Always. Nothing is booked without your sign-off, on every pricing model.
Why do the clips matter so much?
Because a mid-size show's own audience is usually a few thousand people. The clips are what put the interview in front of your network, the host's network, and a paid audience on top. The appearance is the raw material; the clips are the distribution.
What does this do beyond reach?
High-authority backlinks to your site, searchable third-party proof of your expertise, social content you didn't have to originate, and — for the people who show up prepared — a genuine lead channel. It's lead generation and content marketing in one motion.
Do podcasts charge to have guests on?
Reputable ones don't. Some pay-to-play networks do, and we don't book them — an appearance you bought reads as an appearance you bought.
